This project explores the changing relationship between us humans and 'nature'. I start from the hold that 'natural' objects have on us in Out of Nowhere; in Metamorphosis I consider the impact of our closer interaction with the natural world, which may have unpredictable and likely unpalatable outcomes. In breaks/Kintsugi, a work still in progress, I look at the fractures caused by nature itself and at the ones that we generate, concretely or in our imagination, and at the possibility of healing both the environment and ourselves, without hiding the signs of wounds.
